zoë walsh is an american writer with a bachelor's degree in english and creative writing with a minor in professional writing. a former life-long idahoan, she now resides in the mile high city of denver, colorado with her partner and her cat, patrick swayze. she currently works as an editor for denverse magazine and takes on freelance editing projects as well. she was the 2017-18 head poetry editor for trestle creek review, won the fran bahr and lori wallin award for outstanding creative writer in 2018, and has poems published in collections such as unabashed magazine and hobart pulp.
walsh has spent the last nine years immersed in her craft, leaning into her love of stories. she continues to pursue her passions further, collaborating with other creatives, displaying her poetry in an art gallery, hosting poetry readings, leading writing workshops, and reading her works at events. walsh’s writing focuses are primarily in poetry, flash fiction, and creative nonfiction. she integrates her reflections on the human condition into her work, with the occasional sprinkle of humor or possibly a sea monster if the story calls for it. in her free time, you can find her with a coffee in hand, watching movies, attending concerts, working on her photography, or trying new restaurants around the city.
